hi, I have been working in a school as a social media executive, I tendered my resignation on 12th of june 2023 with the last date mentioned as 30th June 2023, now my boss is not ready to accept my resignation letter and I am the only person doing the job of 4 people, I want to know if it is okay for me to just leave regardless of my boss not accepting my resignation.
PS: I am resigning because i am overworked and the work environment is toxic.

A.Dear Client,

In case the notice period falls short of the notice period required for tendering resignation from the organization as per the contract of employment, Employer may deny the acceptance of resignation and can even take disciplinary or legal action for the same against you. So go through the terms and conditions of your contract of employment i.e, the offer letter and take steps accordingly and despite of your compliance of the terms of employment, if the Employer denied or withheld the acceptance of your resignation and refused to settle your F & F Settlement dues, then reach out to the concerned Dist Inspector of School, Deptt. of Education for making a complaint against the concerned School Authority for adopting unfair trade practice for redressal of your grievance. No employer can deprive an employee of his better career prospect and withhold acceptance of resignation when it is tendered following the terms of employment.
