A.Dear client,

1/20th of the available/assignable land in each district is reserved for assignment to Ex-servicemen. Preference is given to the Defence personnel and their dependents for allotment of land under the Housing Scheme viz, Land Acquisition and Development Schemes.

o apply for the allotment of land for ex-servicemen in India after completing 14 years of service, you typically need to follow these steps:

Research: Gather information about the specific state government's policy regarding land allotment for ex-servicemen. Different states may have different rules and procedures, so it's important to understand the requirements in your particular state.

Eligibility: Ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria set by the state government. Generally, ex-servicemen who have completed a minimum number of years in the military, such as 14 years of service, are eligible to apply.

Documentation: Collect the necessary documents required for the application. These documents may include your discharge certificate, proof of service, residential proof, identity proof, and any other documents specified by the state government.

Application Form: Obtain the application form for land allotment from the concerned authority. This could be the state's Department of Sainik Welfare or a similar government agency responsible for veterans' affairs.

Fill out the Application: Fill out the application form accurately, providing all the required information and attaching the necessary documents as per the guidelines provided.

Submission: Submit the completed application form along with the supporting documents to the designated authority. Ensure that you comply with any specified deadlines for application submission.

Verification: The concerned authority will review your application and conduct the necessary verification procedures. This may involve verifying your service records and other relevant details.

Allotment: If your application is approved, you will be allotted land based on the availability and the policies of the state government. The allotment may be subject to certain conditions and may vary depending on the state's specific rules.

It's important to note that the process and requirements can vary from state to state in India. Therefore, it is advisable to consult the official website of your state's Department of Sainik Welfare or a similar government agency for specific guidelines and procedures. You may also consider reaching out to local veterans' associations or welfare organizations for assistance and guidance throughout the application process.
