Fired from company before 1 year with contract of 1 year

So my question is, In my offer letter I have a contract of 1 year, but before that my manager decided to fire me from company, the offer letter says I will get notice period or payment lieu thereof.

In an offer letter for contractual employment for a fixed time, if a condition of termination is stipulated for service of advance notice or payment in lieu of notice, on service of such a notice and subsequent payment for service of the notice period, the employer can terminate your service even before the expiry of the contractual period of service,
