Flipkart refund Flipkart refund

So I got a phone from Flipkart on 18th of June and I had to give my old phone in exchange which I bought for 19000, and refund amount was 1950. It has been 10 days I haven't received my refund and my phone is picked up too. How can I get it back? Can I get a compensation for the mental trouble they have caused me for the phone and amount?

A.Dear client,

Contact Flipkart Customer Support: Reach out to Flipkart's customer support immediately. Explain the situation and provide them with your order details and exchange information. Ask for an update on the status of your refund and inquire about the reason for the delay.

Document all communication: Keep a record of all communication with Flipkart, including emails, chat transcripts, or any other correspondence. This documentation will be useful if you need to escalate the issue or seek compensation.

Review Flipkart's refund policy: Familiarize yourself with Flipkart's refund policy to understand the timelines and procedures for refunds. This will help you determine if the delay exceeds their stated timelines.

Follow up regularly: If you do not receive a satisfactory response or resolution from Flipkart, follow up with them regularly to ensure your refund is processed. Be persistent and assertive in your communication, but maintain a polite and professional tone.

Seek compensation, if applicable: If the delay in refund has caused you significant mental trouble or inconvenience, you may consider seeking compensation. Consult Flipkart's terms and conditions, and if necessary, seek legal advice to understand your rights and options for seeking compensation.

Escalate the issue: If you are unable to resolve the matter through regular customer support channels, consider escalating the issue to higher levels of management within Flipkart. This may involve requesting to speak with a supervisor or filing a formal complaint through their escalation process.

Consumer forums or legal action: If all attempts to resolve the issue directly with Flipkart fail, you may consider filing a complaint with consumer forums or seeking legal advice for further action. A consumer forum or a lawyer specializing in consumer protection law can guide you on the best course of action based on the specific circumstances and applicable laws.

A.Dear Client,
In the given situation, you can serve a legal notice to Flipkart to resolve the grievance failing which you can file a complaint before the Consumer Court or Consumer Affairs Deptt online mode through e-dakhil following the provision of Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules and Consumer Protection(Direct Selling) Rules, 2021 for redressal of your grievance. It may work fast to redress the grievance. failing which you may file an offline Complaint Before the Dist. Consumer Court under whose jurisdiction a branch or warehouse/godown is in operation claiming refund of the entire value of the defective product or to replace it with a new one along with compensation for harassment and mental agony. The complaint should be filed within two years from the date of the cause of action.
