Call recording - employee have doubt

If a employee have doubt about something related to lack of transparency in selection of employees so dicussing the same with one of the selection committee member and recorded the call without permission so that it can be shown as proof in future. In such case is it illegal to record the call and what if same recording will be produced to compensate authority?

Means a person can't expose matter related to curruption or currupt person on the basis of call recording? Even he can't produce it in court to justify the truth beacuse no one will permit to allow call recording and to expose it can be only done without consent?
