In our house rent agreement it is mentioned 11month lease period and if we want to leave during lease period 2 months notice should be given . So how this notice should be given ? Like in a paper we can write and give or registered post or through legal way . We are college students please help

A.Dear Client,
You just write a letter or application addressed to the Landowner and mentioning the specific clause that requires two months advance notice before vacating the let-out premises putting a date of your expected vacation that covers two months, Further, if there is a condition or clause in the rent agreement that any deposit or advance is refundable or adjustable either at the time of vacation of rented premises or on termination of the agreement by either party, that point may also be mentioned in your application and hand over the application to the Landowner obtaining his signature with the date on the duplicate copy of the application as a token of receipt of the application. In case of refusal to sign the copy of application. a Copy of the application should be sent through registered post or speed post. In case of any dispute or difference, you may take the help of local administration for resolving the problem.
