A.Dear Client,
Make an application before the Regional PF Commissioner stating the nature of the anomaly caused for the arbitrary action of the ex-employer endorsing a copy of the same to your ex-employer. If the matter is not resolved then reach out to an Advocate for filing an appeal before the PF Appellate Tribunal for redressal of your grievance.

A.Dear client,

When you change jobs, you have the option to transfer the Provident Fund (PF) balance from your previous employer to the new one or to withdraw the PF amount. However, in your case, it seems that your previous employer has already paid you till 15/07/2021, and the PF transfer or withdrawal is not possible at the moment.

Here's what might happen to your PF amount with the previous employer:

PF Account Continues: Your PF account with the previous employer will remain active and continue to earn interest until you are eligible to withdraw it. PF accounts typically continue to remain operative even if you switch jobs.

Withdrawal After Waiting Period: According to PF rules in India, if you are unemployed for two months or more, you become eligible for PF withdrawal. So, if you remain unemployed for two months after leaving your current job, you can initiate the withdrawal process.

Transfer at a Later Date: If you change jobs again in the future and join an organization covered under the Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), you can initiate the transfer of the PF balance from your previous employer to the new one at that time.

Interest Accumulation: The PF amount with your previous employer will continue to earn interest until you decide to withdraw or transfer it.

It's important to keep track of your PF account details and ensure that you have the necessary documents and information to initiate a withdrawal or transfer when you become eligible.

Additionally, if you have concerns about the date of relieving and its impact on your PF, you can try to resolve the matter with your previous employer through communication and understanding. However, it's always a good idea to seek legal advice or consult with an expert if you face difficulties in accessing your PF funds. They can provide guidance based on the specific details of your situation and the laws and regulations applicable to PF accounts in your country.
