Please guide me how can i deal and close this matter. I am not working and do not have any source of income The message received is pasted ahead in quotes "This is to inform you that your Indusind Bank,Credit Card, A/C **** **** **** has been assigned to Reliance Asset Reconstruction Company Limited for Recovery. We haven't received the payment toward dues of Rs **** despite several reminders. If we don't receive it, we will be forced to pursue legal action. Pay now to avoid that. A.Dear Client,
In the prevailing situation, you need to bring the arbitrary action taken at the belated stage,i.e, after a lapse of more than 10 years, by the concerned Bank to the notice of the Regulatory Authority, RBI by making a complaint online on its grievance redressal portal and the Banking Ombudsman concerned either online or offline. A complaint can be made at https://cms. rbi.org.in or by calling the helpline number 14440. The complaint may be lodged online or by filing a physical complaint and submitting the same at Centralised Receipt and Processing Centre (CRPC) at RBI, 4th Floor, Sector 17, Chandigarh, 160017. You may also serve a legal notice to the Bank on the subject. Further, it may be noted that as per the Limitation Act, 1963, the claim of the Bank is now time-barred. The time limit for Bank to recover Credit Card dues is 3 years from the date on which the amount falls due. That time frame is set by each state and varies from three years (in 17 states) to 10 years (one state) with the other 23 states somewhere in between. So reach out to an Advocate with the Notice of the Bank for proper guidance and steps.

A.Dear client,
It is advisable to first reach out to the concerned bank and discuss your problem and explain your stance. If this doesn't work out, send them a legal notice
