Can I get experience letter if got Terminated
9 months ago
I was terminated from a IT company due to absconding for few days due to my personal issue.
As Termination letter shared with reason as well employer has rejected my request to share experience and relieving letter.
Can i get my experience letter legally as i have served 4+ years there.
A.Dear client,
It depends upon the company. However, some companies do issue the experience letter, but some prefer to acknowledge it as a service letter. Many companies do mention the termination word in the experience letter.

A.Dear Client,
If an employee is terminated by the Company, especially on the ground of proven misconduct, it becomes a stigma that adversely affects the service career of the employee in the long run and may be a cause of rejection of selection or further employment elsewhere on Back Ground Verification(BGV) of the employee. Otherwise, either in case of voluntary resignation or termination of an employee, an employer is duty-bound to issue an experience certificate and relieving letter to an ex-employee. So, on your application, if the Company denied to issue the same, then reach out to the office of the concerned Labour Commissioner if you are a workman as defined u/s.2(s) of the Industrial Dispute Act for such an arbitrary and unfair action of the Company for redressal of your grievance.
