my phone was hacked during the conversation with fraud posing as flipkart support. There was a transaction of 40k in my hdfc creditcard at flipkart for procurement of flipkartgift card of 4 no.s of 10k each, Which was reported to hdfc and flipkart within 15 mins. Later i filed cyber crime report online. After 2 weeks of fraud, mail from flipkart mentioned there is no such transaction in thier records. After that hdfc completed investigation and mentioned transaction was done securely (however fact of phone hacking wasn't considered by them).
Currently flipkart has cancelled transaction and permanently deactivated my account. So I have lost access to my account and finding very difficult to reach flipkart. Everything I call flipkart, they are taking complaint and escalate it internally but mention order cancelled. There is no proper resolution from flipkart wherein hdfc clearly says the amount is settled to flipkart.
Please file a complaint against Flipkart for unfair trade practice adopted by them under section 35 of the consumer protection act before the consumer disputes redressal forum
You may lodge complaint with Flipkart authorities and also threaten them to approach Cyber Police and also filed complaint before Consumer Court claiming huge compensation.
