Is it worth to get my money back or should I accept my loss Is it worth to get my money back or should I accept my loss

A friend took 7000 from me in 2017 & has not returned the money since. Recently an AC Vendor took 5000 from me as advance but has not given the AC. So in total I am at loss of 12000. Should I fdile complaint against these 2? Or, is the amount not significant for me to file a case?

A.Dear Client,
Claim against your friend for Rs.7000/- is barred by limitation now and would not be admitted because a claim is required to be filed within two years from the date of cause of action before the Consumer Court. As regards your advance to AC Vendor that you paid recently, you can file a Complaint u/s. 35 of Consumer Protection Act, 201 before the Dist. Consumer Commission claiming refund of advance and compensation for harassment.
