does the caste certificate get verified after a candidate is selected and what happens if the caste certificate is faulty??
A.Dear client,
Authorities, at the time of initial appointment of SC/ST/OBC candidates against vacancies reserved for them, make a request to the concerned district authorities to certify the veracity of caste/community certificate produced by the candidate.
If the caste certificate is false then the offender will have to pay a fine of up to Rs 50,000 but not less than Rs 10,000

A.Dear Client,
Even after selection, a caste certificate of any candidate may be verified by the authority if the document appears to be fake or faulty. In that case, after due verification of the genuineness of the document, if the authority finds it fake or faulty, they can cancel your selection and can take legal action against you.
