Hi have a federal bank account but it suddenly got frozen due to some cyber complaint against me and I am totally unaware of this issue. A few day back I got money from doing part-time job task on WhatsApp but they sent me 150 rupees 2 times after liking and commenting on hotel reviews then they started asking for me so I thought this was fake and left their group. Is this the reason they froze my account please help, thanks.

A.Dear Client,
Banks may freeze accounts for various reasons, including suspected fraudulent activity, violation of terms and conditions, or compliance with legal obligations. If your account has been frozen due to a cyber complaint, it is possible that the bank has taken this action to investigate any potential fraudulent or illegal activity associated with your account.

To resolve this issue, you should contact your bank as soon as possible and inquire about the reasons behind the account freeze. They will be able to provide you with more information based on their internal investigation process. It is also advisable to cooperate with the bank and provide any relevant information or documentation they may require to resolve the issue.

If you believe that your account has been frozen incorrectly or erroneously, you may consider seeking legal advice from a lawyer who specializes in banking and cyber law matters. They can assess the specifics of your case and advise you on the appropriate legal steps to take.
Thank you.

A.Dear Client,
When an account is frozen by the Bank marking it lien on the instruction of Cyber Crime Cell on receipt of a complaint of a fraudulent transaction. This means that the account holder cannot access the funds in the account, and cannot make any transactions. The account shall remain inoperative/frozen until the reported cybercrime is investigated and resolved. To unfreeze or to make your account operative, you need to contact your bank as well as Cyber Cell. They will be able to tell you more about the cybercrime incident and what you need to do to resolve the matter.
