Hi Sir, I paid 5 lakhs for getting govt job to a far relative who promised me to get a job in any department I want under ministers quota. She said it's not illegal as some seats will be reserved under ministers quota. Now after 3 years she is not even returning my money nor given me any job. I feel like dying . Plz help me I am victim . I am scared because I read that giving money for jobs is also wrong but I gave only because she told me it's not illegal. But I'm scared. Plz tell me what to do ? I am a middle class man with many problems.

Section 2(g) of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 defines a void contract as: “An agreement not enforceable by law is said to be void.” A void contract can never become a valid contract by consent of the parties, or upon the lapse of a reasonable time. A void agreement is void-ab-initio, i.e., void from the very beginning. In the case of a void ‘agreement’, there is no remedy available in law.
