A.Dear Client,
For Central Government jobs, the usual upper age limit for Group B posts through competitive exams is 30 years for candidates in the Unreserved (UR) category. Keep in mind that age relaxations are subject to change and can vary between different recruitment notifications. Therefore, it's essential to refer to the official notification issued by the relevant government organisation conducting the competitive exam for Group B (NG) posts to get the most accurate and up-to-date information on age relaxation criteria.
Central Government civilian employees claiming age relaxation should be in possession of a certificate in the prescribed format from their office in respect of length of continuous service which should be for not less than three years in the immediate period preceding the closing date for receipt of application. They should continue to have the status of Central Government civilian employees till the time of appointment, in the event of their selection. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of application.
