A.Dear Client
According to the Model Bye-laws of Cooperative Housing Societies, the minimum number of members required to form a managing committee in a housing society is as follows:
A society with up to 200 members: The managing committee should consist of a minimum of 7 members and a maximum of 21 members.
A society with more than 200 members: The managing committee should consist of a minimum of 9 members and a maximum of 21 members.
These numbers may vary slightly based on the specific rules and regulations of the housing society, so it's advisable to consult the registered bye-laws of the cooperative housing society.
