A.Dear Client,
Employment related matters neither comes under the purview of the Consumers Protection Act, 2019 nor the teaching faculty comes under the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947, So the teaching faculty can not escalate his grievance before these forums to resolve grievance arising out of the employment. As per the File.No.1-103/AICTE/GRC/Regulation/2021 of the All-India Council for Technical Education, notification dated March 22, 2021, ‘A Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) for faculty/staff members has been constituted. The committee aims to provide opportunities for redressal of certain grievances of Faculty/Staff Members already appointed in any institution, as well as those seeking appointment to such institutions, and a mechanism thereto. Grievance, means and includes, complaint(s) made by an aggrieved Faculty/Staff Member (s) in respect of the following services-related matters namely: Withholding of, or refusal to return, any document in the form of certificates of degree, diploma, experience certificate, relieving order or any other award or other documents deposited for the purpose of seeking appointment in such institution. Non-payment of salaries/wages and or benefits or any other allowances or dues etc’ during service or retirement/resignation, as the case may be Discrepancies between their wages and /or benefits and other members of staff in similar roles/experience Termination without giving any reason or notice or memorandum Non-payment of gratuity amount as per prevailing Govt. rules in force on resignation/retirement; and Any other liability which is directly connected with their service and causing financial loss any harm or trauma A complaint from an aggrieved faculty/staff member relating to the institution shall be addressed to the chairperson, Grievance Redressal Committee(GRC). In case faculty/staff is not satisfied with the decision of the Grievance Redressal Committee, they may appeal to the concerned affiliating University/State DTE (in case of diploma institute) for redressal of their grievance. To streamline the stakeholders' grievance redressal mechanisms, UGC has merged its existing portals/ helplines except Anti Ragging Helpline and developed a new portal "UGC e-samadhan: A step forward: Service to Stake Holders" which would be a single Window system for all the stakeholders for registering their complaints/ grievances on the portal which would be available 24x7 with a click of mouse. A toll free No. 1800-111-656 will also be available on the UGC website 24x7 for lodging complaints by the stakeholders on any issue faced by them. So, following the above steps and serving a legal notice, if the matter is not resolved you may file a writ petition before the High Court for appropriate relief in the matter, In that case, you need to hire the legal services of an Advocate for guidance and steps.

A.Dear client
If the college is not cooperating with your request for a salary, consider sending a legal notice through your lawyer. This notice should outline your grievances, demands, and the legal actions you are willing to take if the matter is not resolved.
