I'm 20+ and she is 17. She is from hindu family and I'm Muslim .. we both were in relationship from past 1 yr ..her parents are threatening me ..they have a powerful background. I just want to know ..can they do something legally that will create problem for me and too my family?

A.Dear Client,

As the girl in this case is a minor, the family of the girl can proceed with criminal charges under POCSO Act, having sexual intercourse or a physical relationship with a minor is a punishable crime as the consent from a minor is invalid and will lead to criminal proceedings.
