Sir, my father is a school teacher with annual salary of 8.2lakhs. As per the central government order while calculating gross annual income of government employees for OBC non creamy layer status , of the employee belongs to class 3 his salary and income from agriculture land should not be considered and only income from other sources to be considered. Does this hold good in Karnataka state government.

A.Dear Sir,
If salary exceeds Rs.8,00,000/- you cannot claim reservation under category 2A of OBC. You may find out other ways and means to get such certificate.
