Need advice on following if i can take any action legally. I recently was looking for a online BCA course where in i get a representative from known education site who called me and advise me that xyz university is good grades and worth going for. So i enrolled myself and paid the first semester fees of 19,000 and 1000 registration fee, Post which i only received a receipt without enrollment number which they said will be given later while they register me. Post this i have no email and call or update and not getting any receipt for 19000 rs which i paid through GPAY. The shiksa.com representative update me i will get email and they are working on it, later she said i should have received email already when i asked for email she is not giving me any details nor she is telling me anything just says she will check and get back to me. Post this she is no more replying to me on WhatsApp and not picking up my calls? I am wondering if this is real and will i get any update ever or i am scammed in financial fraud, should i wait for some more time for an update or go with law enforcement because i have her mobile number, WhatsApp chat with me

A.Dear Client,
I'm not a lawyer, but if you are facing issues with a course enrollment and are concerned about a potential financial fraud, you may want to take the following steps:
1.Document Everything:Keep records of all communication, payment receipts, and any promises made by the representative. This documentation will be crucial if you need to escalate the matter.
2.Contact the University Directly:Try reaching out to the university directly to verify your enrollment status. They should be able to confirm if you are officially registered and provide details about the process.
3.File a Complaint with the Platform: If you used an education platform to find the course, check if there's a customer support channel or a complaint process. File a complaint detailing the issue and your concerns.
4.Contact Your Bank:If you paid through GPAY, contact your bank to inquire about the transaction. They may be able to provide information or initiate a chargeback process if necessary.
5.Legal Advice: If the issue persists, you may want to consult with a legal professional to understand your options. They can advise you on whether there are grounds for legal action or if there are specific consumer protection measures available.
6.Law Enforcement:If you believe you have been a victim of fraud, you can consider filing a complaint with the local law enforcement authorities. Provide them with all the documentation and details you have.
Remember to act promptly and seek professional legal advice for your specific situation. Keep all communication respectful and factual, as it may be used as evidence if the situation escalates.
Thankyou

A.Dear Client,
Being a victim of a fraud scam, you need to report the matter to the local police station ASAP along with all the relevant information/documents you have to enable the investigating authority to investigate the complaint in the right way. The National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal(NCCRP) is an initiative of the Government of India to facilitate victims/complainants to report cybercrime scams or complaints online and once a cyber crime scam is reported online to NCCRP, the investigating team starts the routine process of investigation immediately and you have to wait for the completion of the investigation of the scam by the investigating agency and in the course of the investigation if required they can contact and call you to record your statement or for filing relevant documents. You need to get in touch with the Cybercrime Cell of your district or state seeking their necessary action in the matter. The length of time it takes to investigate a cybercrime can vary greatly depending on the complexity of the case, the resources available to the investigators, and the cooperation of the victim. In general, cybercrime investigations can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months or even years. You can also register a complaint of cybercrime at https://www.cybercrime.gov.in/ and track the status of your complaint online. You may consult with a cyber crime expert for further guidance and steps.
