Microfinance company Microfinance company

I run section 8 microfinance company. And I want to give loan to only those persons who've taken membership/subscription of my company. So is it allowed to give loan to only members in section 8 microfinance and take membership fees from them. Eg I'm giving 5000 loan at interest rate 15% annually. But I'm giving this loan to only my members which membership fees is 250. So is it safe practice?

A.Dear Client,
In the context of a Section 8 microfinance company, offering loans exclusively to members who have taken a subscription or membership of your organization is a practice that can be legally viable, given that the company is structured as a not-for-profit entity with the primary objective of promoting charitable activities. However, it is crucial to ensure that this practice aligns with the specific regulations and guidelines governing Section 8 companies, microfinance institutions, and financial services in your jurisdiction.
To ensure compliance and legal soundness, consider consulting with a legal professional who specializes in financial regulations. They can review your business model, assess its conformity with relevant laws, and provide guidance on best practices. It is essential to transparently communicate the terms of membership, including any associated fees, and to clearly outline the loan terms to members. Ensuring adherence to legal requirements will help establish a secure and ethical lending framework for your Section 8 microfinance company.
Thankyou
