A.Dear Client,
If you have received a notice from a finance company regarding your father's vehicle loan, even though he passed away 10 years ago, it's crucial to address this matter promptly. Firstly, gather any relevant documents related to your father's death, such as the death certificate and legal heirs' certificate. Contact the finance company to explain the situation and provide them with the necessary documentation to establish your status as the legal heir. In many cases, the finance company may require you to settle the outstanding dues, transfer the vehicle's ownership, or follow a specific procedure outlined in their policies. Seek legal advice if needed to navigate through this process and ensure that you address the matter appropriately in accordance with the laws governing such situations.
Thankyou

A.Dear client,

In this case you need to make an application before the concerned loan department. Annex your father’s death certificate, and all the papers you have.
The authorities are expected to guide and cooperate with you . If not, then you can send a legal notice.

Thanks

A.Dear Client,
A legal heir of a deceased borrower who by the law of inheritance gets the property of the deceased owner is equally liable to meet the debt of the deceased borrower. You got the notice from the lending Bank in the name of your deceased father as per the record of the Bank under the continued cause of action, i.e, default in repayment of debt for years. Try to settle the loan with easy terms or a one-time settlement, if possible, otherwise, you may face legal consequences if the Bank initiates legal action for recovery of outstanding debt through Court.
