I am a govt officer. I accidentally give an experience certificate to a daily wage employee. He got signed the certificate by placing the certificate between other documents that I was signing. I accidentally didn't notice the certificate. But he cunningly placed the certificate in between other documents and get signed. How I can move legally to cancel the certificate.

A.Dear Client,

If your official position in the government establishment doesn't allow you to issue an experience certificate to a daily wage earner or contractor worker, you can annul or cancel the previously issued experience letter. Issue a revocation letter to the concerned individual, requesting the return of the original certificate. It's advisable to meet the person, collect the original certificate, and obtain a receipt for your revocation letter to close the matter amicably. In adherence to office protocol, any document requiring an officer's signature typically undergoes scrutiny and counter-signature by subordinates who process it. Review the office copy of the experience letter to identify the source of the default or dereliction. If there's a discrepancy, address the matter following the established service rules of the establishment. Taking proactive steps to rectify the situation is recommended to avoid potential future consequences.

A.Dear Client,
In case your position in the Govt. establishment does not permit you to issue an experience certificate to a daily wage earner or a contractor worker, which is issued by default, then you can revoke/cancell the said experience letter by issuing a letter to the concerned daily wage earner. You may call him in your office and ask him to return the original certificate and get a receipt for your revocation letter from the person to close the matter. As per the established form of office decorum and procedure, any paper placed before an Officer of the department for signature requires scrutiny and counter-signature of the subordinates who process the matter in the office copy of the department. So, you may go through the office copy of said experience letter to assess the source of the default or dereliction and if so happens, you may take up the matter following the service rules of the establishment. Once default or dereliction dictated, it is advisable to keep yourself protected upfront to avoid any sort of future consequences.
