Am married woman working in private sector. My father was retired PSI. But joined to the department as constable. he expired now. Does my father retirement amount also will get considered to get NCL certificate or the only pension to my father.
A.Dear Client,
Your categorization as belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) remains unchanged even after marriage. In the context of caste determination, the classification of children is based on the father's category, and this status does not alter with a woman's marriage. The salary income or pension of a government employee is not factored into the computation of annual income for assessing eligibility under the OBC Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) category.
Marriage, according to this perspective, neither imparts nor relinquishes one's caste status. If you possess your original caste certificate from before marriage, you can use it as the basis to apply for an OBC NCL certificate in your current place of residence, considering it as your matrimonial location.

A.Dear Client,
You technically belong to OBC category even after your marriage because the category of children comes from their father and it doesn't change after the marriage of a girl. Salary income (or pension) of a government employee is not taken into consideration for computing the annual income to assess the eligibility for OBC NCL category. Marriage can neither impart caste nor relinquish it. So, if you have your maiden caste certificate then on its basis you can again apply for OBC NCL Certificate from your matrimonial place.
