A.Dear Client,

The eligibility for an OBC-NCL (Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer) certificate is typically determined by the annual income of the applicant's parents or the applicant. To be eligible for the certificate, the income must fall below a certain threshold, which is Rs. 8 lakh per annum in many cases.

However, it's important to note that Group C and Group D government employees can apply for the OBC-NCL certificate even if their income exceeds Rs. 8 lakh. This is because income from salary and agriculture is not counted as part of the total income for the purpose of determining eligibility.

In your case, if your income exceeds the specified threshold limit in the current financial year, you may not be eligible for an OBC-NCL certificate. It's advisable to check the specific guidelines and rules applicable in your region or jurisdiction for accurate information on eligibility criteria.

A.Dear Client,
The eligibility for an OBC-NCL certificate is determined based on the annual income of the applicant's parents or the applicant. The applicant becomes eligible for the certificate if the income falls below Rs.8 lakh in a financial year. Group C and Group D government employees, even if their income exceeds 8 lakhs, can apply because income from Salary and Agriculture is not counted as income. Since your income exceeds the threshold limit in the current financial year, you are not eligible for an OBC NCL certificate.
