I'm selling my 2 wheeler to a used bikes dealer. They don't transfer RC until they find a new buyer. What procedure should I follow for my assurance till the dealer finds a buyer?

A.Dear Client,

Obtain a money receipt on stamp paper and execute a handover and takeover receipt for the two-wheeler, including all relevant documents such as RC, insurance, and pollution certificate, from the dealer. Ensure that the process is witnessed by two individuals. Additionally, promptly inform the relevant Regional Transport Office (RTO) about the sale of the two-wheeler, enclosing copies of all receipts received from the dealer. This proactive step will help safeguard yourself from any potential adverse consequences related to the sold vehicle.
