Date of birth
I have joined company in 1987 and given the SSLC as proof of Date of Birth. Recently I got my original Date of birth Certificate from my mother and it shows there is difference between SSLC and Birth certificate. I approached my HR regarding this. My company asked the details of Birth certificate, Aadhar, & pan card. All the documents shows only as per the Birth certificate. Based on this documents our company corrected in my Salary certificate and PF statement also. This has happened in 2017. After 2 years they are insisting give SSLC and company wants to SSLC date of birth.
1. Will it possible to correct by company without my approval
2. If they change can i go for legal.
