About exception from election duty

I am about to get election duty in my state of Karnataka as Preciding officer. My head of institution while providing staff position mentioned in remark column as I am away from duty and relived to perceive Bachelor of education at my own cost without salary and services as DIES NON period. So my question is necessary for me to attend election duty even though am not in service. It's tough for me to drop my studies for few days as it near to my semester exams.

A.dear client in your matter All other activities are secondary in nature, try not to contravene and attract stintingent action. If need take advice & help of you head of institution.

A.If you are in service, with pay, you shall attend and report for election duty, unless you are really ill. If you are not on government pay, you are not. If you are on holiday without pay, dont recieve the notice.

A.Election duty is one of the essential duty & services on Govt Education Department Employees any attempt to avoid or abstain under any circumstances viewed very seriously & immediate action will be initiated during election. All other activities are secondary in nature, try not to contravene and attract stintingent action. If need take advice & help of you head of institution.
