Verbal agreement

I worked as a home tutor for 5 months and quit that job on 20th oct. The person in charge agreed to pay me the remaining amount on 10of Nov but when he failed to pay I tried contacting him and he kept reducing the amount which he is supposed to pay me. matter of fact I have a proof of him agreeing to pay me my Money which now he denies. And lastly when I called him to enquire he was bad mouthing and challenges me to do what so ever I want . How do I proceed legally?

A.Hi,
You have to register a complaint with the local police station on the grounds of cheating, criminal breach of trust and criminal intimidation.
If the police fails to register a complaint, then please proceed with a private criminal petition in the respective court having jurisdiction.

A.First of all u will have to send him written demand letter by registered post acknowledgement and give him specific period for making payment. Even if he doesn't pay then send a legal notice through an Advocate.
