6 months ago I married a girl i did court marriage but now I come to know that she is mentally very ill , I leave her to her parent's home but now they are blackmailing me that they will see me in a court. Can i file case on them that girl was mentally ill even though they allow her to marry with someone..?

A.dear client in your matter You can file a petition for nullity of the marriage.On the basis of documentary evidence, you will have to prove her gravity of the mental illness and also that the she was suffering before marriage but this information was concealed from you willingly by her parents and herself.

A.Hi Mr.Nilesh You can file petition for divorce u/s 12 of HM Act in your Taluk/ district court, for annulling of your marriage, and in case of blackmailing of her parents you can lodge complaint before jurisdictional police station
