Hi sir , I would like to askaboit court marriage procedure.we both belong to Hindu and Christian religion.and our parents are against what is the step we can do for getting married legally?

A.dear client in your case You have the right to marry under the Special Marriage Act.

A.There is no bar or hinderance for court marriage provided both are of marriageable age & otherwise suitable to Marry under the Special Marriage Act.However it is better to consult a family matter lawyer from the panel of vidhikarya for guidance & help with regard to all aspects of act & law and requirements of the competent authority under the Act.
