i have filed a criminal case section 354d.506,509,446 in 2016. Now i want to withdraw it. Please advise the step. This lodged as STATE versus accused name in patiala house court.IF I AM ABSENT IN PROSECUTION EVIDNCE HEARING WHAT HAPPEN . DOES COURT WILL CLOSE THE CASE.

A.1. if you are the complainant and do not appear the Court will decide the case without your evidence and may acquit the accused

A.Hi client,
You can withdraw or close a case if you are a complainant. Just, go to the LD. Public Prosecutor being appointed in your case have a discussion and clearly mention the said to the PP. The PP will tell you the next procedures.The LD. judge shall ask you and after two three dates the case shall be closed.(though you have'nt mentioned about the stage of your case).
And if you are not appearing on the said dates , the court may send you summons and ask to attend the court.
In that case there are chances that it might be disclosed. The better would be if you will attend the court and disclose the matter.
