I was to vacate my house by 3rd April but cant do so because of lock down. I told my landlord that i will pay 15 days rent and move out on the 15th April once the lock down is over. He is however forcing and pressurizing me to pay full month rent where as no such thing is mentioned in the rent agreement also. Can he do that? what should i do
A.Owing to the present scenario you need to talk to your landlord and you may end up staying their for the time this lockdown is on. Thus plan accordingly and settle the issues with your landlord. In case of force eviction approach local police for help.

A.Solve this problem amicably. Owing to the current situations it is not what your landlord should be doing. Contact the police and ask them to help you.

The situation is as such in allovt the country that I guess, it won't be possible for you to go out after 15th April too. Nor, your landlord can get a tenant for half of the month.In that case stay here the full month and pay the same.
