Employee agreement
I have signed for 1 year employee agreement in a company. My company ask to serve notice period of 1 month. Now it's 11th month of working in my company. so can I serve notice period this month so that I can leave company in my 12th month.
A.It would be better if you have a word with your employer and remove this confusion of whether you can work 12 months as: 11 months + 1 month notice period or 12 months + 1 month notice period. And take your call accordingly. It is better to clarify now than to loose salary or to land in legal trouble.
Thank You.
Thank You.

A.It depends.
Normally your employer would want you to complete the contract period and plus serve one month notice period.
If you have resigned in the 11th month then you can serve the 12th month as notice period and thereafter resign completely.

A.Dear Sir,
It can be interpreted either way. As per your interpretation you are correct. But your employer may ask you to work for 12 months fully and then go for one month notice. Any way to exit on the expiry of 12th month. Happy exist and new job.
