I have a new tenant .He want to business in my premises .My premises is not commercial.What to do ! Can my tenant apply for trade licence.if it is not commercial premises?What are the consequences?

A. Without landlords permission a tenant cannot indulge in any kind of commercial activity. Incase he indulges in any and you are made liable then you are entitled for all the damages and compensation.

Once you receive a show cause notice from the customs then you can yourself or through lawyer appear there and plead for confiscation of the items so imported. Once you application is received then they will calculate the amount of penalty to be imposed on you then you need to pay the penalty and get rid of the case.
