According to Hindu Succession Act After Father death only First class heirs are entitled for his property. the First Class heirs are deceased person's mother, wife and Children. So according to this Your father's siblings can't claim for the property.

Secondly, if someone had not claimed the property from more then 12 years then they can't claim for the ownership of the property after 12 years.

It depends on the registration of GPA. If GPA was registered then you can revoke it by following the procedure related to revocation of GPA. And also GPA registration must be revokable.

Here two things have gone wrong.
1. You did not get your property searched by an expert lawyer before buying who could have discovered that.
2. The Lawyer from LICHF should have done the due diligence which is also missing in this case it seems.
Yes you should inform the LICHF about this as later on there will be issues.
