Sir,my ancestors used to own a land since 1874 and they rented that land for kuccha construction since then it continued to be done till1985 but now since last 39 years neither it is in possession nor i have any documents of the same but i have registered rent deeds for the same.My question is 1) how to procure documents of the property (Note-the property is in the municipal corporation since 1914 or before).2) What should be the legal proceedings to be initiated in order to get the land back.3)Is it possible that the people who were on rent may have got their name on the property by paying bribes? 4)If this is so then how can I challenge them or expose their wrong doings.

Sir,my ancestors used to rent the land to different people for living and on that land they were allowed only temporary (कच्चा) construction.This continued and many built permanent construction over the land but they paid the rent till 1985.After 1985 when my grandfather died there was no one to look after the property.So i want to know what should be the next step in order to get the land back.
