A. Since it was a friendly loan and I assume that for which no agreement was signed then you should provide a no dues certificate on a plain paper. There is no need to do so on a stamp paper.

A. Absolutely yes, and there is no bar but it is always suggested to engage a lawyer as due to technicalities the chances of the case going in wrong direction is high. I know few instances where the persons have suffered due to this.

A. dear client in your matter If you appoint some other lawyer without getting NOC from the AOR then the other lawyer so appointed will fall under the clutches of professional mis-conduct and the judge is bound to dismiss the petition from your current lawyer irrespective of any fact.If your current lawyer is not giving NOC then you have to ask it from him and if he denies there are well established procedures for obtaining the same. you may take a consultation for further advice.
