Try and contact senior officials from that station. If they are unwilling to take action, you can file a writ petition in the High Court.

False claims can be punished under S.209 IPC. In addition, you can file a complaint against him for cheating and fraud under Sections 415 and 420 IPC.

If that specific accused was also involved and caused injury to you, then he must be punished. But, if you want his name to be dropped, refuse to identify him at the evidence stage (only if you have not got a chance to identify the accused at a previous stage).
