If jeans is not covered under college dress code you are not suppose to wear the same. But under any circumstances such teacher cannot humiliate you in front of your fellow students. You may lodge a complaint with Police and also you may lodge complaint with higher authorities in the educational department and get issue a legal notice threatening to initiate legal action and to claim huge compensation unless such teacher submits her/his unconditional apology.
