A. Did you serve a termination notice ending the tenancy? If you go through your tenancy agreement (leave & license agreement) you will find a termination clause clearly spelling out that either party can end the tenancy by serving one month notice. You just can't verbally say and walk away from your liabilities. Your tenancy continues till you serve one month legal notice of termination.
