I wish to give my house on rent to bachelors, but the co-op housing society is objecting to that. Please advise.

A.What is the bye-laws of the society, and any case of letting to bachelors, if there no pricidence then you have to be careful ,because the society can take action for any untoward incidence or any public nuisance, better to consult a local professional lawyer to verify the bye-laws and consequences of letting to bachelors & act according to his advice & guidance.

Once I get the police verification done, and as long as my tenants do not cause any nuisance...what grounds the society can stop?

Society has Bye-law clauses and conditions you have to obtain the permission or NOC otherwise you will have to face the consequences,even other members has reservation about letting to bachelors.

A.Society can not prevent you.
You will have to give Legal Notice to society.
