A.When we live in a densely packed society, as in our country, and given our social mores, it is practically very difficult to get the privacy that we conceive of in an ideal situation or from the point of view of society and standards where we do not belong. Also, when in a troubled state of mind, we begin to aggravate the wrong being committed against us. That being said, yes you can file a suit and also seek injunction against them for not publicizing your private conversations. So far as the question of evidence is concerned, you can only have oral witnesses, like your family member or members with whom you had private conversation and other persons in your locality as witnesses to testify that they heard your such private conversations from your neighbours. You can also seek damages, though that will be a little difficult to prove as quantifying damages caused by compromising of your privacy is slightly tricky and more so as the Hon'ble Courts find it difficult to conceive of any quantifiable direct damages having been caused by attack on your privacy. But you certainly have a case.
