Minor aged 17 has eloped with a boy
My niece who is a minor aged 17 has eloped with a boy without the consent of the girl's father.how I complain about it.
A.Dear Client,
This situation could escalate significantly if a complaint is lodged with the police, especially considering the girl is a minor. In addition to potential charges under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, the boy could also face prosecution under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO). My advice would be to carefully assess the situation and, if feasible, attempt to resolve it by speaking with both the boy and the girl and encouraging them to return home. If this approach proves unsuccessful, then lodging a formal complaint with the police may become necessary.

A.Dear Sir,
You just walk-in into the nearest police station and lodge a complaint either missing or kidnap. It is a very serious offence and immediately the girl may be restored to her parents.

A.Dear Client
This can be a serious issue if a complaint is lodged with the police as the girl is still a minor and apart from other Sections of the Indian Penal Code the boy can be even booked (a possibility) under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO). My humble suggestion to you would be that try to figure out the whole scenario and if possible talk to the boy and girl and bring them back home. If it does not work then you can go to the police station and lodge a complaint to them.
