Interview for State civil services during lockdown
3 years ago
Hi ,
I am currently in South Africa but i appeared for BPSC exam before lockdown. At the moment indian airspace is closed and vande bharat flights ply once a month from south africa. There has been only 3 flights from south africa to India, one chartered plane, one air india and one south african airlines to re-patriate their citizens. Even in this situation, BPSC is taking interview for gazetted class jobs. I am very sure my interview will be called in july and considering no flight, 15 day quarantine it is literally impossible for me to reach for interview in time. Concern is BPSC gives 15-20 days notice before interview. Can someone please suggest how should i approach the BPSC? Is there any legal procedure that deny them to conduct interview while in lockdown. I have already dropped to BPSC a mail providing details like visa, residence proof of south africa, admit card for the exam, passport, etc. but i haven't received any response. A few newspaper editors have also talked to board members regarding this situation and their response is we do not take online interviews, there is still time, etc, etc. Please help me out, i really want to serve the people back home.
Feel free to call me on whatsapp @9540648698. I am still using indian whatsapp number.
Regards
