Want to cancel a commercial unit coz.of covid situation and uncertainties. Demand has been raised by builder. I only signed an EOI and BBA yet to be signed. Can I get refund on cancellation? EOI has a clause that 15% amount will.be forfieted.

A.You have rightly thought about cancelling the commercial unit due to the whole situation and then the uncertainties ahead. Even if the builder is cutting 15% of the amount do take the balance amount in hand..... as at least he is ready to give the balance amount which will be actually beneficial to you. You have made a wise decision.

A.You can get it cancelled but as you have mentioned that EOI has a clause seeking 15% cancellation fee so, the builder would like to deduct that amount unless you convince him not to do so and he agrees.
