VRS becoming absolute after notice period is over VRS becoming absolute after notice period is over

I applied for vrs under CCS pension rules 1972 after completion of 33 yrs of qualifying service and served a notice period of more than 90days. My vr application was rejected by competent authority but the decision was never communicated to me on or before end of my notice period by my reporting authorities. Now they are telling me to rejoining the duty and that I'm on unauthorized absence since the day of my vr becoming absolute after completion of the notice period.they've withold my pension and other terminal benefits. What is my stand position in this case? If rejection is not communicated within notice period, am I deemed to be retired and entitled for terminal benefits?
Can I approach CAT or any other legal entity?

A.Yes you can seek legal remedy. But instead join and again submit after few months. One cannot guarantee court order in your favour.
