My father in law was working as senior manager(scale-3 officer) before demise.His younger son applied for job on compassionate ground but the competent authority declined the request of job with the words"the family of the deceased employee is not indigent and has no financial destitution,as such,declined the request of applicant."
Family has four members,mother,two sons,daughter(married).no earning member in the family and all depends on the family pension provided by the bank.What should we do?

A.1) Is the family receiving any sort of ex gratia payment from office after demise of their father?
2) The ground for denying compassionate employment cannot be this strict.
3) You can go to High Court and get appointment done.
