HP Laptop

I had purchased the laptop on 18.06.20 on finding manufacturing defect lodged the complain to HP on 20.06.20 for change of unit and DOA letter but was granted letter for change of unit on 9.07.20. The retailer didn't had the said model so he asked for refund on confirming from HP I was informed that the model is available with HP but non of them changed my unit now when the prices have increased and most of the units are out of atock they are offering to tale another unit out of which 5000 will be paid by HP and rest of the amount has to be paid by me. I denied it as laptop prices have increased by approx 10000 even the faulty model that was given for replacement , its price has also increased by Rs. 9000. Need help for taking action.

A.Clear case of defrauding consumers. Case is clearly made out against the retailer, HP, HP service centre. You would have to send legal notice first. Thereafter, consumer complaint will be lodged.

This is absolutely irresponsible behaviour and should not be tolerated by you.
