Not paying rent

My tenant has not paid rent for the commercial property used as beauty salon for last 6 months and wants waiver of rent since his business was affected due to Covid 19. He is not answering my phone calls or whatsapp messages. Can I evict him for not paying rent?

A.Yes you can evict him but on humanitarian ground I would urge you not to do so as this time everyone is suffering. Its your final call but have a word with him and try to settle it down.
